Daniel Gillespie Clowes (/klaʊz/; born April 14, 1961) is an American cartoonist, graphic novelist, illustrator, and screenwriter. Most of Clowes's work first appeared in Eightball, a solo anthology comic book series. An Eightball issue typically contained several short pieces and a chapter of a longer narrative that was later collected and published as a graphic novel, such as Like a Velvet Glove Cast in Iron (1993), Ghost World (1997), David Boring (2000) and Patience (2016). Clowes's illustrations have appeared in The New Yorker, Newsweek, Vogue, The Village Voice, and elsewhere.

Debeurme is a French graphic novelist and illustrator who was born in 1971. After studying fine art at the Sorbonne, he was first published in the anthology Comix 2000, followed by the acclaimed graphic novels Céfalus (2002) and Mes ailes d’homme (2003), the autobiographical story collection Ludologie (2003), and youth-oriented illustrated editions of the classics Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (2001), The Chancellor (2004), and Gargantua (2004).
His breakthrough came in 2006 with the release of Lucille, which won the René Goscinny Prize and was named one of the 5 "Essential" graphic novels of the Angoulême International Comics Festival. He followed that success with Le grand autre (2007), Le lac aux Vélies (2009), and Terra maxima (2010). The year 2011 saw his English-language debut with Lucille from Top Shelf, as well as the French release of Lucille’s sequel, Renée.
He continues to write, draw, and play guitar in Paris.

Matthias Lehmann est un auteur de bande dessinée, illustrateur français1, né en 1978.
Au milieu des années 1990, il édite des fanzines autoproduits à la linogravure. Son attachement à cette technique marque l'esthétique de son travail, dans les projets à la carte à gratter (L'étouffeur de la RN 115) comme à la plume (La Favorite)2. Parallèlement à son travail d'auteur, il publie régulièrement ses illustrations dans la presse, notamment dans Libération, Le Monde des Livres, Siné Mensuel, et participe également à des anthologies comme Comix 2000, Lapin ou Dirty Stories3.

Gabriella Giandelli est diplômée de l’institut d’art et de l’école de cinéma de Milan. Elle travaille comme illustratrice pour la section littérature de La Repubblica, entre autres quotidiens et magazines, et elle publie des bandes dessinées pour diverses maisons d’édition. Gabriella Giandelli was born in Milan in 1963. She published her first comics in 1984 and soon established herself as one of the most important comic book artists in Europe. Her children’s serial character “Milo”, featured in numerous volumes published in Italy by Mondadori, has recently been adapted for television in Italy and France. She has worked as a designer for Alchimia, Memphis, Alessi, and Swatch. Her illustrations have appeared in major national dailies in Italy such as La Repubblica, Il manifesto, Il Sole 24 Ore, and the magazines Marie Claire (Italy), Vanity Fair (Italy) and Internazionale.
Her work has appeared as cover art for volumes published by Feltrinelli, Einaudi, Mondadori, in Italy; Seuil in France, and Bloomsbury Berlin. In America, her illustrations have appeared in the New Yorker, Flair, Urban, Courrier International; she is currently collaborating with Le Monde (France).
